Sankeerthanaa School of Music started it's journey in March 2021. Since opening our doors, our team of passionate musicians have been committed to nurturing artists and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts. At Sankeerthanaa, we believe in the profound impact that art forms can have on shaping thoughts, perspectives, and ultimately, lives.
Sankeerthanaa offers an unique and meticulously tailored one-on-one learning approach, customized to meet each student's specific requirements, thereby fostering a nurturing environment for every individual. And we are confident in the educational experience, mentorship, and community you'll discover here.
Presently, our institution boasts a diverse student body of over 90 individuals representing more than 30 countries worldwide, and our community continues to grow steadily. Our students' ages span from 5 to 50, emphasizing our belief that age should never hinder one's pursuit of their passion. Founder Note
Ayshwarya's musical journey began at the tender age of 5, back in 2001 under the tutelage of her grandmother, Mrs. Vadivu Subramaniam, a talented violinist and vocalist in Carnatic music. Her musical education was further enriched by Mr. Vasudhevan, who imparted invaluable insights into the technical intricacies and profound beauty of Indian Classical Music. Ayshwarya continued her pursuit of musical excellence under the guidance of Smt. Rajeshwari at Sri Vidhya Kshethralaya music school. Since 2004 she has been actively performing in both Carnatic and light music concerts, fueled by an unwavering passion for music.
Driven by her fervent dedication, Ayshwarya expanded her musical repertoire by teaching herself to play the Veena and Guitar. With over 15 years of rigorous training in Carnatic music, she continues to refine her craft under the mentorship of a seasoned playback singer. Throughout her musical journey, she has performed in over 350 stage shows and events and has imparted her knowledge to more than 30 students in both Carnatic and Light Music vocals.
Although she initially pursued a career in IT, Ayshwarya’s heart always gravitated towards music. Sankeerthanaa emerged as the bridge that enabled her to transition into becoming a full-time musician. She takes pride in the exceptional team of artists assembled at Sankeerthanaa, each chosen for their remarkable talent and passion for teaching. The school’s personalized online sessions have proven to be highly effective and efficient for both vocal and instrumental lessons.
Ayshwarya strongly believes in the power of art forms to change thoughts, perspectives, and the lives of every individual. Through Sankeerthanaa, she aims to foster an art-centric society where music and other forms of art play a vital role in shaping a positive future.
